What a night of volleyball action to wrap up the Tuesday Beginner League at Turn Verein! The playoffs were packed with great rallies, underdog stories, and plenty of energy from start to finish.
The night kicked off with the #4 Serves You Right taking on the #5 Spike Wazowski in the quarterfinals. Spike Wazowski came out strong, finding their rhythm early and knocking off the higher seed in two sets to earn their spot in the semifinals.
Next up, the semifinals brought even more excitement. The #1 Sets on the Beach faced off against Spike Wazowski, who refused to slow down after their first win. In a big upset, the fifth-seeded squad continued their hot streak and swept the top seed to advance to the championship. On the other side of the bracket, the #2 The Merps battled the #3 Dig by Daylight in a close, hard-fought match, with Dig by Daylight edging out the win to move on.
That set up a thrilling final between #5 Spike Wazowski and #3 Dig by Daylight — a true underdog story in the making. Spike Wazowski dominated the first set 21–5, but Dig by Daylight fought back hard in the second, pushing it all the way to a tense 22–20 finish. In the end, Spike Wazowski held on to complete their incredible playoff run and take home the title of Tuesday Beginner League Champions!
