One Kick Wonders Capture the Crown After Redemption Run

After a season marked by highs, lows, and nail-biters, One Kick Wonders finished atop the kickball mountain on Sunday, clinching the Late Spring 2025 title with a gritty 1-0 championship win over the Jaywalkers. The squad leaned on stingy defense and just enough offense in the final, shutting out a Jaywalkers team that had stunned top-seeded Big Kick Energy earlier in the evening.

The title run came with some sweet revenge. In the semifinals, One Kick Wonders outlasted Worlds Okayest Kickball Team 5-4, avenging a 2-5 loss from the final week of the regular season. That turnaround was the only revenge they needed: their championship opponents, the Jaywalkers, had already been handled once before in a 10-2 blowout win back in May. This time around, the margin was razor-thin, but the result was the same—One Kick Wonders on top.

Notably, their journey wasn’t all smooth sailing. The Wonders opened the season with a shutout loss to Big Kick Energy and dropped a tight one to Kick-fil-A, but bounced back with dominant wins over BALLSTARS, Kickin It, and the aforementioned Jaywalkers. That growth showed under pressure when it mattered most.

Now, the only thing left for One Kick Wonders to do is celebrate. Whether it's post-game beers, some over-the-top team group chats, or dusting off the trophy shelf, this squad earned their moment. Congrats to the champs—no longer just wonders, now officially winners. 🏆

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
