The Gang Plays Softball...Really Well

Our Spring 2015 Friday Softball league wrapped up on Friday night with a great night of playoff action. In our first semi-final The top seed The Gang Plays Softball lived up to their seeding in a decisive 9-1 victory over the veteran squad and number four seeded Sons of Pitches.

In our second semi-final, was an offensive explosion as the number two seed Team From the East out slugged number three seed I'd Hit That by a final of 16-12.

Thus the stage was set for our final between the two top teams in the league. Team from the East was playing with an 8 man squad and battling to compensate for the absences, but The Gang Plays Softball played outstanding defense and found the holes in the field with their bats, pounding out a 16-8 victory.

Congratulations to The Gang Plays Softball and to all of the teams that competed in a great softball season.

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
