Money Shot down Fireballs

Last night we wrapped up our Winter Social Dodgeball league with an exciting championship match. Money Shot came in as the clear #1 seed, but Fireballs had to earn their spot by defeating the Purple Hooters to earn the #2 seed and set up a showdown with Money Shot.

Both teams came into to the final round ready to go and play for the title. It was a very fast paced first game... Andy of Money Shot and Joel (Fireballs) were the star players of the game, with Money Shot emerging victorious. The second game was a little bit slower but Brian (Money Shot) held his own when he was the last player on his team until Jose (Fireballs) got him out and made it a tie game. The third round went quickly as well with Fireballs picking up another win. After another Money Shot win, we were tied two games apiece at the midway point.

After a slow paced Money Shot victory in the 5th game, Fireballs were down to their last chance to tie up the match and force a championship overtime. Money Shot had other plans, pulling out another win, and winning the championship 4 games to 2.

Congratulations to Money Shot on their title, and to all the teams on a great winter season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
