Our Fall 2014 Wednesday Ultimate league wrapped up last night as "The Purps" earned top honors, the Benny's bar tab, and bragging rights as our season champions.
"The Purps" navigated their way through the season largely unscathed, surviving two one point battles against second place, "D.O.U.S." Their experience, strategy, and speed carried "The Purps" to victories over veteran opponents and talented newcomers alike. The "Purps" lone defeat of the season came via forfeit in the final game of the season, just as the SF Giants were wrapping up a championship season of their own.
Congratulations to "The Purps" and to all of the teams that competed in the Ultimate season.
