Smack My Kick Up Lays The Smack Down

Our Fall 2014 Wednesday kickball league wrapped up last week with "Smack My Kick Up" taking home top honors in the downtown division by finishing the season in 1st place. "Smack My Kick Up" finished the season with a stellar 7-1 record, their lone defeat coming by forfeit. Unfortunately we weren't able to have our normal playoffs due to rain and field maintenance this winter.

Second and third place in the league went to, "Sweep The Leg" and "Pitch, Who Do You Love?" who were hot on the heels of our champs, both finishing the season with 6-2 records.

"Smack My Kick Up's" toughest test of the season came from second place "Sweep The Leg" in an early season battle that went "Smack My Kick Up's" way 3-2.

Congratulations to "Smack My Kick Up" and to all of the teams that competed in the downtown division of a great kickball season.

Much Ado About Balls

Our 2014 Fall Kickball season was completed last week and indy team "Much Ado About Balls" earned the title of league champion of the midtown division by finishing the regular season in 1st place. Unfortunately we weren't able to have our normal playoffs due to rain and city scheduled field maintenance this winter.

"Much Ado About Balls" were tested by several tough teams throughout the season, but each time they were put to the test they came out on top with the exception of 1 draw against second place finisher "Rusty Balls".

"Much Ado About Balls" utilized strong pitching performances and excellent defense in regularly holding their opponents under 5 runs. There offense while not dynamic, came up with clutch kicks when the pressure was high.

Congratulations to " Much Ado About Balls" and to all of the teams that competed in the midtown division of a great kickball season.

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
