SFW Caps Off an Amazing Season

Our Summer 2014 Sunday Dodgeball season concluded this past weekend with the top dogs in the league, SFW completing an undefeated season and earning the Blue Cue bar tab.

SFW's opponents in the championship game were the C-Men who sported a 4-4 regular season record, including two defeats at the hand of SFW. However, the C-Men entered the game with a degree of confidence having taken SFW to the wire in their most recent contest losing a pitch 5-4 battle.

The finals started off with SFW winning a close opening game. C-Men answered in the second game and tied the score at one game all. SFW rebounded to win the third game, and once again C-Men answered the bell in the fourth game tying the score 2-2. The fifth game was decided as both teams had only one remaining player on the court. The SFW player narrowly avoided getting hit, and then countered to knock out the C-Men player. Following that crushing defeat, C-Men had nothing left and SFW took the championship 5-2.

Congratulations to SFW and to all of the teams that competed in the dodgeball season.

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
