“Your Mom’s Favorite Team” are the Flag Football Champions of the Spring ‘22 Season, after defeating “End Zone Mafia” 5-3!
“Your Mom’s Favorite Team” entered the championship as the #2 seed and one of the favorites to take home the championship. Their offense was the main reason they finished the season as one of the top teams in the league but the real MVP during the championship was their defense. It was a close game from start to finish, and no one knew who was going to be crowned the champions of flag football. “Your Mom’s Favorite Team” started the game on fire and scored on their first possession but “End Zone Mafia” came right back and tied it up 1-1. Both teams played lock down defense for most of the game and kept it very close but everything changed in the second half. “Your Mom’s Favorite Team” came out determined on the offensive end and scored a quick touchdown to take the lead. “End Zone Mafia” played their hearts out but the “Your Mom’s Favorite Team” could not be stopped. “End Zone Mafia” was able to score one more time and apply some pressure to “Your Mom’s Favorite Team” but nothing could slow them down. The championship was close for most of the game but “Your Mom’s Favorite Team'' ran away with it at the end and ended up winning the championship 5-3!
