“Midnight Sliders” are the Friday Softball Champions of the Late Spring ‘24 season, after defeating “Crunchwrap Crows” 8-3!
It was the playoffs for Friday Softball last night and it did not disappoint! “Midnight Sliders” and “Crunchwrap Crows” made it to the championship and everyone was expecting a competitive game! The first inning started out with “Midnight Sliders” scoring a couple runs and not allowing “Crunchwrap Crows” to get anything going offensively. “Midnight Sliders” have been impressive on the offensive end all season long but it was their defense that gave them an edge in the championship. Their offense started to heat up in the 4th and the 5th inning scoring a few more runs to give them a 8-3 lead going into the last inning. “Crunchwrap Crows” was able to string together a couple hits in the last inning but “Midnight Sliders” held them off and won the championship!
