Our Summer 2014 Tuesday Softball league wrapped up last night as the top four teams battled for top honors. The championship was truly up for grabs as the parity amongst the teams was on full display in an exciting night of playoff action.
In the first semi-final the #2 seed A-Team outlasted #3 seed RE/MAX Renegades capturing a 10-9 victory in a slugfest. In the second semi-final the #1 seed HomeSmart Closers proved too strong for the shorthanded #4 seed Real Estate Mafia 7-3.
Fittingly our championship came down to the top two teams in the league, and in a nip and tuck game that could have gone either way, The HomeSmart Closers closed the show winning an outstanding final 8-7.
Congratulations to The HomeSmart Closers and to all of the teams that competed in the softball season.
