  Smack that

Congratulations to "Smack that" for becoming the Thursday Beginner Volleyball Champions!

“Smack That” are the Thursday Volleyball Champions of the Summer ‘23 Season, after defeating “Hungry For That AYCE” 2-1!

“Smack That” came into the playoffs as the #2 seed and as one of the heavy favorites to take home the title, but they had to defeat a very formidable “Hungry For That AYCE” team before they could be crowned the champions! “Smack That” came out on fire in the first set, and did not allow “Hungry For That AYCE” to get anything going. “Smack That” dominated the first game with great serves and amazing team work. They were able to win the first set 21-19 and it looked like they were unstoppable, but “Hungry For That AYCE” was not going down without a fight. “Hungry For That AYCE” came right back in the second set and performed bump, set and spike to perfection. They were able to claim victory in the second match and forced a third set. The third and final set was very close, but “Smack That” was too hot to handle. They took the lead early in the final match and they never looked back from there. “Smack That” won the third set 21-11 and became the champions of Thursday volleyball!

Congratulations to “Smack That” on becoming the Thursday Volleyball Champions of the Summer ‘23 season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
