“Just for Kicks” are the Thursday Soccer Champions of the Summer ‘23 season, after defeating “Plan B” 6-3!
It was the playoffs for Sunday soccer last night, and it did not disappoint! “Just for Kicks” came out on fire in the championship and took an early lead with an impressive goal, but “Plan B” came right back and scored an amazing goal of their own and tied it up at 1-1. Both teams played their hearts out and scored two goals in the first half, and neither of them were backing down from one another. “Just for Kicks” came out of halftime determined to score, and that's exactly what they did. “Just for Kicks” scored another immaculate goal at the start of the second half and took an early 3-2 lead. “Plan B’s” offense came alive right after “Just for Kicks” scored, and continued to apply pressure to the “Just for Kicks” defense. “Plan B” scored a goal to tie it up at 3-3 in the second half. It looked like “Plan B” were going to be crowned the champions, but “Just for Kicks” had other ideas. “Just for Kicks” were able to score two more goals late in the second half to take the lead, and they never looked back from there!
