  Sets on the Beach

Congratulations to "Sets on the Beach" for becoming the Tuesday Volleyball Champions!

“Sets on the Beach” are the Tuesday Volleyball Champions of the Summer ‘23 Season, after defeating “Rage Cage” 2-1!

“Sets on the Beach” came into the playoffs as the #2 seed and as the heavy favorite to take home the title, but they had to defeat a very formidable “Rage Cage” team before they could be crowned the champions! “Sets on the Beach” came out on fire in the first set, and did not allow “Rage Cage” to get anything going. “Sets on the Beach” dominated the first game with great serves and amazing team work. They were able to win the first set 21-17 and it looked like they were unstoppable, but “Rage Cage” was not going down without a fight. “Rage Cage” came right back in the second set and performed bump, set and spike to perfection. They were able to claim victory in the second match and forced a third set. The third and final set was very close, but “Sets on the Beach” was too hot to handle. They took the lead early in the final match and they never looked back from there. “Sets on the Beach” won the third set 21-12 and became the champions of volleyball!

Congratulations to “Sets on the Beach” on becoming the Tuesday Volleyball Champions of the Summer ‘23!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
