Congratulations to "Lakers Suck" for becoming the Thursday Basketball Champions!

“Lakers Suck” are the Thursday Basketball Champions of the Late Spring ‘23 after defeating “Los Chicanos” 2-1!

It was the playoffs for Thursday Basketball last night, and it did not disappoint! “Lakers Suck” and “Los Chicanos’” made it to the championship and it was a match to remember! The championship started off with “Lakers Suck” scoring the first point of the match. “Los Chicanos” came right back and immediately made a three pointer to tie it up, but “Lakers Suck” kept making three after three and won the first game 21-9. After losing the first game, “Los Chicanos” turned up the heat and took a commanding 12-4 lead in game two. It looked like “Los Chicanos” were going to easily win the game but “Lakers Suck” weren't going down without a fight. “Lakers Suck” kept it close until the very end but “Los Chicanos” came out on top and won the second game 21-15 and forced a third and final match. The championship deciding game started out as a nail biter with both teams matching each other point for point. It looked like the championship would come down to the final shot of the game but “Lakers Suck” started to make great play after great play by playing smart basketball. “Los Chicanos” played their hearts out and kept it competitive all the way until the end but “Lakers Suck” proved that they’re the best team in the league by winning the third game 22-8 and becoming the champions of Thursday Basketball!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
