“Smokin’ Aces” are the Thursday Volleyball Champions of the Fall ‘22 Season, after defeating “Big Dig Energy” 2-0!
“Smokin’ Aces” entered the playoffs as the heavy favorite to win the Championship, but they had to defeat a very formidable “Big Dig Energy”” team before they could be crowned the champions! The first set started out as a tight match with both teams exchanging points between good hits and great serves. “Smokin’ Aces” were able to come together and force “Big Dig Energy”” to commit errors that allowed them to win the first set 21-12. “Smokin’ Aces” continued their dominance into the second set by performing bump, set and spike to perfection! “Big Dig Energy”” played their hearts out, but Smokin’ Aces” were too hot to handle. “Smokin’ Aces” went on to win the second match 21-15 and became the champions of Thursday volleyball!
