“Monday Spring Team” are the Monday Softball Champions of the Late Spring ‘22 Season, after defeating “Icy Hots” 10-7!
“Monday Spring Team” came into the championship as one of the favorites to take home the title, but they had to defeat a very formidable “Icy Hots” team before they could be crowned the champions! “Monday Spring Team” lost to the “Icy Hots” during the regular season, so they were ready to exact their revenge. But “Icy Hots” were not going down without a fight. The first few innings were a defensive battle with both teams only scoring a couple runs. It was anyone's game, until “Monday Spring Team” scored four runs late in the game to give them the lead. “Icy Hots” came right back and scored two runs of their own to make it close till the end. But “Monday Spring Team’s” defense stayed strong in the last few innings and prevented “Icy Hots” from scoring another run. “Monday Spring Team’s” incredible teamwork and impressive defense gave them the edge they needed to win the championship 10-7!
