  Check Out Our Balls

Congratulations to "Check Out Our Balls" on becoming the Downtown Kickball Champions!

“Check Out Our Balls” are the Downtown Kickball Champions of the Spring ‘22 season, after defeating “Pitches Be Brazy” 5-2!

"Check Out Our Balls" entered the the final week as the #2 seed and one of the favorites to take home the championship. Their offense was the main reason they finished at the top of their division, but their real MVP during the championship was their defense. “Pitches Be Brazy'' came out in the first inning and scored two quick runs to take an early lead in the championship. It looked like “Pitches Be Brazy’s” offense was going to be unstoppable, but “Check Out Our Balls” made a couple miraculous plays to hold them to only two runs. After that first inning, “Check Out Our Balls” played lock down defense and did not allow “Pitches Be Brazy” to score another run. It was a defensive battle for most of the game, but “Check Out Our Balls” finally broke the seal and scored three runs to take the lead in the 4th. “Ptiches Be Bazy” played their hearts out, but the “Check Out Our Balls” defense proved to be too strong and won the championship 5-2!

Congratulations to “Check Out Our Balls” on becoming the Downtown Kickball Champions and winner of $50 to Streets Pub and Grub!

  We Got The Runs

Congratulations to "We Got The Runs" on becoming the Midtown Kickball Champions!

“We Got The Runs”are the Midtown Champions of the Spring ‘22 season, after defeating “Los Kickers” 6-5!

It was the playoffs for Kickball last night, and it did not disappoint! “We Got The Runs” and “Los Kickers” made it to the championship and it was the rematch of the century! The game started out with the “Los Kickers” scoring a couple runs in the first inning, and not allowing “We Got The Runs” to get anything going offensively. But everything changed after the third inning. “We Got The Runs” offense started to heat up in the 4th and the 5th inning scoring a few runs to give them a lead going into the last inning. “Los Kickers” were able to string together a couple hits in the last inning, but “We Got The Runs” were able to hold them off. “We Got The Runs” have been impressive on the offensive end all season long, but it was their defense that gave them an edge in the championship.

Congratulations to “We Got The Runs” on becoming the Midtown Kickball Champions of the Spring ‘22 season and winner of the $50 to Streets Pub and Grub!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
