Notorious D.I.G = Season Champs!

On Monday night we wrapped up our spring advanced quads volleyball season with some fantastic games.

In the first round, our #1 seeded team, Notorious D.I.G faced off against the Mighty Giraffes, the #4 seed. The Mighty Giraffes were the #5 seed, but moved up when the #2 seeded Smash Bros had to bow out of playoffs. In week two, Notorious defeated the Giraffes 3-0... would the Giraffes have more to give this time? Unfortunately for them, it was more of the same, with Notorious D.I.G winning 2-0.

Our other semi-final match pitted Unlimited Sushi against the Sky Balls. The Sky Balls finished the regular season with a 4-4 record, with two of those wins coming against the sushi platter, both with a score of 2-1. This time they won the first two games to move on, 2-0.

Our finals featured the 7-2 (including playoffs) Notorious D.I.G against the Sky Balls. One of those two losses came at the hands of the Sky Balls in week 8, so the Sky Balls had no fear. They put up a battle, but ultimately lost the tiebreaking game and the match 2-1. Notorious D.I.G. finished the season 8-2 and season champs!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
