The "Golden Bears" are our Sunday Flag Football champions for the third straight season, going undefeated in the process!
it wasn't an easy breeze through the playoffs this time around for the "Golden Bears", but they got through it just the same. A 25-13 win over "Purple Reign" was a terrific start to the night, but "Touchdown Thotiana" took them down to the wire in the championship. As champions do, instead of wilting to the pressure the "Golden Bears" rose the the occasion. With "Touchdown Thotiana" down 6 late in the game, the "Golden Bears" stepped up their defense, shutting down any hopes of a comeback.
Overall the "Golden Bears" went 8-0 on the season, once again proving they are the league's top team. They also finish with an astronomical +132 point differential, showing they were in a class of their own.
There weren't many tough games this season for our champs, but "Touchdown Thotiana" played them tough both times this season. However, nobody could get in the way of the "Golden Bears" on their way to a 3-peat! Congratulations to them on another incredible season!
