Pure Perfection from the 'Purple People'

"The Purple People Eaters" have sealed a perfect season! Thanks to their championship win on Monday night, they end with an undefeated 9-0 record.

After a red hot start they were the clear favorite to win it all. And while they made it look easy, that doesn't mean it was always a walk on the beach. That was especially true when they faced off against "Balls Deep", their main rival throughout the season. The two teams played each other twice this season, with our champs coming out on top both times in 2-1 wins. It was only their third matchup, in the league's championship game, that would end in a sweep. In that game "The Purple People Eaters" were at the top of their game, winning handily with a 21-11 win in the first set and a 21-15 win to close things out.

Overall our champions ended with a league-high +22 set differential, nearly tripling the +8 by their championship game opponent who finished 2nd in that category. To put in bluntly, "The Purple People Eaters" were totally dominant this season.

Congratulations the "The Purple People Eaters" on the incredible season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
