"Plan B" is our lastest Thursday soccer champion, defeating the "Silver Snakes" in a tightly contested championship game. Once again the two rivals faced off in the league title, with "Plan B" dethroning last season's champs after falling to them in the 1st round of those playoffs.
All season the two teams were the cream of the crop. And while "Plan B" opened the season with a tough loss to the "Red Hot Chili Flickers" they rebounded nicely, winning the next three games. Then, after suffering their second loss of the season at the hands of the "Silver Snakes", "Plan B" once again rattled off three straight, including the championship game.
Congratulations to "Plan B" on the incredible season. They may have had a couple tough losses, but they were able to stay focused and keep their eyes on the ultimate prize. In the process, they avenge last season's playoff defeat, no doubt making this season's win that much sweet. Well done!
