Eating Up W's

"What's for Dinner?" is our Friday night volleyball champion! After becoming a dominant team in our beginner leagues "What's for Dinner?" finally made the jump to intermediate.

There was definitely an adjustment period for the squad, dropping their first 3 games of the season. However, in game 4 things clicked, channeling their inner-champions and picking up their first win of the season. It was definitely a turning point, and from there they would win 4 straight games. Eventually they'd make their way to the championship game.

In the championship the first two matches were intense with great rallies, with some points to be had on errors thanks to some jitters.

In the third set things got interesting with Tim from "What's for Dinner?" and Milan "Set an Example" really battling out at the net with some great kills and blocks. Bre from "What's for Dinner?" did her share of great placement on hard driven balls and LaVonne from "Set an Example" was digging up a lot. Eventually, near the latter of of the third set, "What's for Dinner?" pulled out some really tough serves to win the match decidedly.

Congratulations to them on an incredible season, winning the title in their first foray into our intermediate leagues!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
