Champsssss

The "Silver Snakes" have won our latest Thursday night title! In the process, they also avenged back to back championship game losses to "Plan B" by knocking them out this in this season's playoffs.

As is always the case, the "Silver Snakes" had championship aspirations from the opening kickoff. Their only blemishes to their 6-1-1 record came in games against "Plan B" where they lost 3-2 in their first match, then drew 1-1 in their second go around. By the time they met in the playoffs though, "Silver Snakes" had figured them out, winning by the score of 2-1 and advancing to the championship.

On the other half of the bracket the #1 seed, "Red Hot Chili Kickers" made easy work of "Tree City FC" in a 5-0 win.

The championship game was full of goals, with both teams able to get by the keeper multiple times. But, "Silver Snakes" were simply the better team all night and in the end took home the 4-3 victory.

Congratulations to the "Silver Snakes" on getting back to the top of the podium. They haven't been there in a couple of seasons, but we're sure it feels good to be the top dog (or snake) again!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
