A for Effort

"Team A" is our newest Bocce Ball champion after defeating "Boccelism Outbreak" 15-8!

"Team A" entered the playoffs on a 2-game win streak, edging out their opponents by the score of 15-13 in both games. With a record of 4-2 going into the playoffs, they were hoping to continue that momentum as the 2nd seed facing off against #3 "The Backboards". In that game "Team A" leaped out to a huge 13-3 lead over "The Backboards". From there they'd never look back and eventually defeated them 15-11.

They were then tasked with playing the final game against #1 "Boccelism Outbreak" who have remained on top all season long. They entered the finals with a 5-game win streak, which included their most recent playoff game win. Based on these facts, they were heavily favored against "Team A". But as usual and proven in previous seasons, you can never count out the underdogs. "Team A" pulled off the biggest upset of the season and went on to defeat "Boccelism Outbreak" 15-8, becoming become our latest Bocce champions.

Congratulations to "Team A" on an amazing season and never changing your name! Once again they've proved all of the doubters wrong, and we look forward to seeing them again next season as they try to defend their title!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
