An Underdog Story

"Fugeddabocce" are our latest Bocce Ball champions after defeating "ChewBocce" 15-4.

"Fugeddabocce" entered the playoffs with a record of 2-4, as the 3rd seed facing against 2nd seed "Son of a Bocce". At one point they were down 11-5, but "Fugeddabocce" were able to come from behind and achieve back-to-back casinos (scoring all 4 points) in consecutive frames. With the score now swinging in their favor of 13-11, they were able to seal the win and defeat "Son of a Bocce" 15-12.

After the thrilling win they rode that momentum into the finals against the #1 seed, "Chewbocce". "Fugeddabocce" were calm and composed in the final game because they jumped out in front, gaining a huge lead of 11-4 against "Chewbocce". They never looked back, prevented their opponent from ever scoring again, and eventually become the champions by a score of 15-4. Congratulations to "Fugeddabocce" on a fantastic season and proving that underdogs should never be underestimated in Bocce!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
