Redemption!

The "Power Rangers" are our latest Thursday Dodgeball champion, knocking out "Team C" in the championship game by the final score of 5-2. While the game was neck-and-neck for a while, the "Power Rangers" broke the 2-2 tie, pulling ahead and never looking back.

But, before the game was in hand, there was potential for disappointment. In the 4th game of the match there was a pretty major turnaround. "Team C" was at a disadvantage in players with just 1 remaining on the court, and thanks to a couple of unforced errors pulled out the win. However, as champions do, the "Power Rangers" overcame those errors and now find themselves on the podium.

All season long it was a two horse race, with both the "Power Rangers" and "Team C" destined for a rematch of last season's championship game. As the top two teams all season, each also breezed through their first round games with ease, setting up for a very entertaining final.

In all the "Power Rangers" had a season fitting for a champion, leading the league with a +31 point differential and ending with a 9-1 record. Their lone loss came to "Team C" in the first week of the season, but after that it was nothing but wins. Congratulations to them on the well-deserved championship!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
