'C'-zing the Day!

"Team C" is our Sunday Softball champion, taking out the top seed "Bad News Bears" in the final. It was a perfect day for softball, and in turn "Team C" played some perfect softball through the afternoon.

Heading into the playoffs "Team C" was on a hot streak, having gone 5-1-0 before Sunday's games. A number of those wins were close as well, winning four games this season by just one run. And all this despite a miserable 0-2 start, including giving up 14 runs in a tough week 2 loss.

In the first round of the playoffs "Team C" took on "MASTERBATTERS", knocking out the #2 seed with a strong 8-3 win. On the other side of the bracket the top team, "Bad News Bears", cruised to a 12-6 win to make their way to the final.

In the championship "Team C" stayed hot, with their defense leading the way. They held the "Bad News Bears" to just two runs while picking up 6 of their own, plenty to secure the win. It was an incredible end to a season that start pretty rough, but in the end they are the league champions!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
