A Late-Game Push Makes the Difference

"CalSTRS SoftballERS" is our Wednesday night Softball Champion following a great win to wrap up the season in the final! Throughout the regular season they were one of the top two teams in the league, and when it came to the championship they made it count with a clutch late-game win.

In our championship game "CalSTRS SoftballERS" and "Where My Pitches At?" squared off in a bruising battle for softball supremacy. The game was a back and forth affair early. With clutch pitching and good defense "Where My Pitches At?" jumped out to a 4-2 lead going to the top of the third.

Both teams would add a run over the next two innings, with "Where My Pitches At?" leading 5-3 entering the top of last inning.

In their final at-bat of the season "CalSTRS SoftballERS" managed to open the game up against a tough pitcher as their bats got hot just at the right time. It was hit after hit, run after run, and when the inning was over they had tallied eight runs to take a commanding lead. In the following bottom half of the inning they kept their opponents scoreless to preserve the victory.

Congratulations to "CalSTRS SoftballERS" on their softball championship. Revel in the glory of being a champ, and we hope to see you come back to defend your title next year!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
