"Iron Born" Claim Bocce Iron Throne

The "Iron Born" are our Wednesday Night Bocce Ball champions following a great win in the championship game against the "Island of Misfit Toys".

Throughout the season "Iron Born" was the team to beat. Following the regular season our eventual champs held a 5-2 record, enabling them to securing the #1 seed and a bye to the championship. Meanwhile the 2nd and 3rd seeds battled it out in a skirmish of epic proportions. In the end the lower-seeded "Island of Misfit Toys" pulled off the upset in a 15-14 nail-biter. With that win our misfits were on to the final.

In the championship game "Iron Born" got out to a bit of a lead midway through the game and slowly and methodically they were able to toss their way to victory. Despite only picking up points here and there and not in bunches, "The Island of Misfit Toys" was not able to capitalize. Perhaps it was a bit of fatigue after having played a grueling match right beforehand. Either way, the "Iron Born" were our eventual victor by the final score of 15-12, and thus securing the iron throne of Bocce.

Congratulations to "Iron Born" on a fantastic Bocce season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
