  Plan B

Double Duty

"Plan B" is our Tuesday Night Soccer League champion once again following their 6-2 season in the league. This marks their second straight title and they have definitely supplanted themselves as the team to beat on Tuesdays.

We entered the night with three teams vying for league champion. But, "Plan B" entered the final night of games with their destiny in their hands. All they would need was a win, and they took full advantage of that by picking up an impressive 5-0 win to seal the deal. Our second place team, "Third String", also put up a great 5-2 win, though unfortunately for them it wasn't enough.

It wasn't any easy league championship for "Plan B" though, who were tied with "Third String" in rankings points with 11 and had a 1-1 record through the season against them. Ultimately the championship came down to point differential, where "Plan B" was able to separate themselves from the rest of the league. No doubt their couple of big wins through the season made a difference.

Congrats to "Plan B" on another great championship season. Can they make it three in a row? We can't wait to find out in our last Tuesday night league of the year!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
