Emily the 'Shining Star' for 'EWF'

"Earth Wind and Flannel" is our Wednesday Cornhole league champion after dominating the league all season, including a +20 point differential which more than doubled any other team in the league.

It helped that "Earth Wind and Flannel" also had the MVP of the night, Emily, who just could not be stopped. She was sinking bags left and right, to the point they were rolling over the opponent's bags. Without her, the playoffs may have been a completely different story.

Oddly enough the hardest game of the night for "Earth Wind and Flannel" was the first one against "Unprotected Sacks." Our eventual champions were able to squeak by with a 3-2 victory despite not having much confidence in a championship run to start the evening. The same could be said for the other teams in the playoffs though, since "Earth Wind and Flannel" was the top seed going into the night.

In the other 6:30pm game it was "Bagnificent" who was able to narrowly defeat "Nick's Angels" with the exact same scoreline as the other game, 3-2.

That set us up for a championship game featuring #1 "Earth Wind and Flannel" versus #2 "Bagnificent." In an earlier matchup this season between the two 'EW&F' was able to win quite easily 4-0.

Unfortunately for "Bagnificent" that was the case again in the championship as "Earth Wind and Flannel" swept them by the score of 3-0.

Congrats to "Earth Wind and Flannel" for being crowned the champions! We hope to have them back soon to see if they can defend their title!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
