Congrats to "Ebowla" for winning our inaugural Thursday Bowling League at Mardi Gras Lanes. They went into position week as the second place team, but were able to topple the top seed "Black Balls Matter" when it mattered most.
"Ebowla" got off to a slow start on the night by losing the first game by a substantial margin of over 100 pins. But, they came roaring back in the second game with a win to take a about a 50 pin lead going into the third and final game. Nick for "Ebowla" was strong all night and played his best in game 2 picking up an even 200 to go along with a couple of turkeys on the night. In the other lane 3 of the 4 members of "Black Balls Matter" bowled below average while Ben tried his best to keep the team afloat, but to no avail.
In the third and final game game "Ebowla" stayed on their hot streak and finished off "Black Balls Matter" with another win. The two wins, along with winning the final pin count 2412-2268, made them the overall winners by the score of 3-1.
Once again, congrats to "Ebowla" on the win and we look forward to seeing them defend their title in the upcoming season!
