BallBarians Filch Title In Fearless Fashion

The "BallBarians" were crowned champions of our Thursday Softball league after a defensively strong 7-3 win. They were not intimidated even though they faced the previously undefeated "Multiple Scoregasms". The way their opponent had been playing throughout the season, "The BallBarians" knew they would have to bring their 'A' game.

Earlier in the season these teams met and "Multiple Scoregasms" squeaked out a 12-11 win in a back and forth affair. There was no doubt we were in for another great match-up between the two teams.

Both teams started out by putting runs up on the board. Afterward, "The BallBarians" continued putting together one-run inning after one-run inning while holding "Multiple Scoregasms" scoreless. The highlight of the game was a great diving catch by the pitcher for "The BallBarians" which closed out one of those scoreless innings.

"Multiple Scoregasms" strung together a couple more runs in the final innings but it was not enough with "The BallBarians" ultimately winning 7-3.

Congrats to "The BallBarians" for bringing it for the championship game! A well-deserved win. We look forward to seeing them defend their title next season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
