I'm Kick James, Pitch! Completes Perfect Run

It was a magical season for 'I'm Kick James, Pitch!' who finished their season undefeated after winning back-to-back three-run victories in the playoffs.

'I'm Kick James, Pitch!' went into the night as the top seed and won their first game of the night against the #4 seed 'Flying Squirrels'. That 3-0 victory saw them through to the finals.

In the finals 'I'm Kick James, Pitch!' took on the third seeded 'Balls and Dolls'. 'Balls and Dolls' picked up a win in their first game of night over 'Pitch, You Guessed It' thanks to a huge last inning where they picked up 4 runs en route to a 7-5 victory.

Earlier in the season 'I'm Kick James, Pitch!' defeated 'Balls and Dolls' by the score of 7-2. Revenge was not on the cards, however, as 'I'm Kick James, Pitch!' continued their dominant ways with a strong 4-1 victory.

'Balls and Dolls' opened the scoring in the second inning but 'I'm Kick James, Pitch!' answered with two runs in the bottom of the second. Although both teams played their hearts out, 'Balls and Dolls' were unable to rally back, while 'I'm Kick James, Pitch!' secured their win with another run in each of the third and fifth innings.

It was a a great finish to a perfect season for 'I'm Kick James, Pitch!' and one they will surely be pround of.

Purple Reigns Supreme

'Purple Reign' pulled off a fantastic victory last night to take the Midtown Division championship with a thrilling 2-1 victory.

'Purple Reign' came into the playoffs as the 3rd seed while their opponents, the fourth seeded 'New Kicks on the Block', pulled off a 3-0 upset of #1 ranked 'Kickelob Ultras' to get into the championship.

In their first game of the night 'Purple Reign' defeated 'Ball Me Maybe', a team they had lost to earlier in the season by the score of 5-4. Despite that previous score line weighing on their shoulders, 'Purple Reign' was able to crank up the defense and win 3-1 to set up a championship game made up of two underdogs.

The game got off to a fast start with both 'New Kicks on the Block' and 'Purple Reign' scoring in the first inning, but after that it became a pitcher's duel. Neither side would concede a run for the next few innings and rarely would a runner even get into scoring position. There were also plenty of web-gem worthy plays from both sides as neither wanted to concede the next run and have to climb out of a hole.

Finally, in what would become the last inning of the night, a breakthrough came.

With a runner in scoring position and 1 out 'Purple Reign' got a kick down the left field line. 'New Kicks on the Block' made it close with a great throw to home, but in the end it was a walk-off base hit that sealed the deal for 'Purple Reign' who now reign supreme over the Midtown Division.

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
