Tuesday Cornhole went full playoff mode at Bike Dog Brewing, and when the bags finally stopped flying, the No. 4 seed Gone Fishin’ 🎣 was standing tall as your league champion! What started as a quarterfinal matchup turned into a full blown Cinderella run, with Gone Fishin’ taking down higher seeded competition all the way to the top.
The night opened with the quarterfinals, where No. 4 seed Gone Fishin’ took on No. 5 Glory Holes, while No. 3 Just Baggin battled No. 6 Elote. Gone Fishin’ punched its ticket to the semifinals with a 3–1 win, while Elote delivered the first big upset of the night, knocking out No. 3 Just Baggin with a 3–2 victory. The bracket was officially on notice.
In the semifinals, the No. 4 seed kept rolling. Gone Fishin’ faced top seeded TOM and came away with a 3–1 victory, sending the No. 1 seed home and earning a spot in the championship. On the other board, No. 2 To the Moon survived Elote, winning 3–2 to set up a championship showdown between the No. 4 and No. 2 seeds.
Then came the best of 5 final. Gone Fishin’ and To the Moon battled it out with the championship on the line, but it was the No. 4 seed that finished the job, winning the final 3–1 and completing an incredible run through the bracket. 🎣🏆
