With the pressure turned up at Nitty’s Cider, Toss Boss handled business in the semifinals before finishing strong in the finals to secure the title. They left little doubt that they were the team to beat, capping off their night with an impressive 3–1 victory over the No. 2 seed, The UniCorns.
The road to the championship started in the semifinals, where Toss Boss faced the No. 4 seed, Bag Company. Toss Boss came out firing and swept the matchup 3–0, punching their ticket to the finals in convincing fashion. On the other side of the bracket, the No. 2 seed, The UniCorns, took on the No. 3 seed, CornDejo. The UniCorns showed why they earned a top two seed, taking the semifinal matchup 3–1 and setting up a showdown between the top two seeds for all the marbles.
In the championship match, Toss Boss and The UniCorns battled for the crown, but the No. 1 seed ultimately came out on top with a 3–1 finals victory. The UniCorns put together a strong playoff run of their own, but Toss Boss proved too much to handle when it mattered most. After earning the top seed and sweeping their semifinal opponent, Toss Boss finished the job and cemented themselves as champions.
