What a way to close out Tuesday Night Softball at Grant Park! The playoffs started with the #1 seed Nasty Ashleys taking on the #4 seed Team B in the first semifinal. Team B pulled off the upset and advanced to the championship after Nasty Ashleys forfeited, giving the #4 seed a shot at the title!
On the other side of the bracket, the #2 seed Sac City Rebels faced off against the #3 seed The Swingers. The Rebels made sure there was no upset in this one, putting together a dominant performance and cruising to a 10-1 victory to punch their ticket to the championship game.
That set up a finals matchup between #4 Team B and #2 Sac City Rebels, and Team B made the most of their opportunity! After advancing by forfeit in the semifinals, they came out ready to prove themselves in the championship and did exactly that. Team B took control and rolled to a 10-2 victory, completing their run from the #4 seed all the way to league champions! 🔥
