🥏🏆 VIOLET OFFENDERS CAP OFF THE SEASON AS ULTIMATE FRISBEE CHAMPS! 🏆🥏

After seven weeks of regular season action at Grant Park, it all came down to Position Week, where the standings determined the final matchups: #1 vs. #2, #3 vs. #4, and #5 vs. #6. Sitting at the top were #1 Violet Offenders and #2 Better Stall Saul, setting up one final head to head matchup with the championship on the line and it was a fitting finale for two teams that had been battling near the top all season.

Violet Offenders established themselves as the team to beat early. They opened the season with an 8-6 win over Extra Butter and followed it up with a nail-biting 10-9 victory over Kru-Tang Clan. One of their biggest statements came on July 15, when they faced Better Stall Saul for the first time and came away with an 11-7 win. They continued stacking victories, including another one point thriller over Sacramento Unathletics, 13-12, and a convincing 14-8 win over Extra Butter. Even after Frisbeers handed them a 11-7 loss in the final week of the regular season, Violet Offenders had done enough to secure the #1 seed and a shot at the title.

Better Stall Saul had put together an impressive season of their own to earn the #2 spot. They opened with a 12-5 win over Frisbeers, crushed Extra Butter 13-3, and later put up 15 against Sacramento Unathletics. They also came through in some of the season's closest games, including an 11-10 win over Kru-Tang Clan. After a late 13-12 loss to Sacramento Unathletics, Better Stall Saul bounced right back the following week with a 12-6 win over Kru-Tang Clan, carrying some serious momentum into the championship matchup.

That set the stage for August 19: #1 Violet Offenders vs. #2 Better Stall Saul for the championship. 🏆 The two teams had already met once, but Better Stall Saul had the opportunity to flip the script when it mattered most. Violet Offenders had other plans. They finished the job with a 12-9 victory, completing their run from the top seed to league champions! 👑🥏

The rest of Position Week delivered plenty of action as well. #3 Kru-Tang Clan closed out their season with a strong 15-9 victory over #4 Sacramento Unathletics, while #6 Frisbeers ended on a high note by knocking off #5 Extra Butter, 11-7.

Huge congratulations to VIOLET OFFENDERS on taking home the Ultimate Frisbee Championship! 🎉 From close one point battles to big wins against the league's top competition, they put together a fantastic season and came through when the championship was on the line. #1 seed. One final showdown. One championship. 🏆🥏

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
