Team A Upsets Top-Seeded Boss Ballers to Win 3v3 Basketball Championship

Top seed doesn't always mean the top team on Championship Night. That was the case in 3v3 Basketball (Thursdays, Summer '26), where No. 2 seed Team A knocked off No. 1 seed Boss Ballers 2-1 to claim the title.

Team A rolled into the playoffs off an 8-1 regular season, their only blemish a 2-1 loss to Bots back on July 9 ... a team they'd get a measure of revenge on just one round later. In the quarterfinals on July 23, Team A handled The Cali Buds in a clean 3-0 sweep. The semifinals on July 30 brought that rematch with Bots, and this time Team A settled the score, winning 3-0 to punch their ticket to the finals.

Waiting there was Boss Ballers, the tournament's top seed, who'd cruised through their own side of the bracket with a 3-0 quarterfinal win over Ball So Hard University and a 3-0 semifinal win over PAANN. The final came down to the wire, but Team A closed it out 2-1 to complete the run from No. 2 seed to champions.

Congratulations to Team A on the title, and thanks to everyone who hit the court this season. See you next time!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
