🏆 THE WRECKING BALLS WRECK THE BRACKET! 🏓💥

The name certainly fit the performance on playoff night! #1 The Wrecking Balls entered Thursday Beginner Pickleball at Howe Park as the team to beat, and they made sure nobody could knock them off the top spot, finishing their playoff run without dropping a single game and walking away as league champions!

The night started with quarterfinal action, where #4 Too Legit to Dink earned a 2-0 victory over #5 Team C to advance. On the other court, #6 Team A immediately shook up the bracket, knocking out #3 We Thought This Was Tennis with a 2-0 upset and earning a spot in the semifinals.

Waiting for Too Legit to Dink was the top seeded Wrecking Balls, and the #1 seed wasted no time getting to work. They punched their ticket to the championship with a 2-0 semifinal victory. Meanwhile, Team A wasn't finished with their Cinderella run. The #6 seed delivered another upset, this time sweeping #2 The Dinklebergs 2-0 to go from the lowest seed in the bracket all the way to the finals! 👀

That set the stage for the ultimate playoff matchup: #1 vs. #6 with the championship on the line. Team A had already taken down the #3 and #2 seeds, but The Wrecking Balls proved to be one obstacle they couldn't get through. The top seed closed out their dominant night with another 2-0 sweep, securing the championship without surrendering a single game in the playoffs!

Congratulations to THE WRECKING BALLS, your Thursday Beginner Pickleball Champions! 🥇🏓💥 A #1 seed, a perfect playoff run, and one well earned title!
