Botched Ball Surgery Operates on Their Opponents

Our Late Summer Bocce Ball league wrapped up last night. The temperature was cool, but our champions, "Botched Ball Surgery" were scorching hot.

In our first semi-final the #1 seed "Team D Boccery" was slayed by the upset minded #4 seed, "Ball So Hard" by a score of 15-10. Meanwhile in our second semi-final, the #2 seed "Botched Ball Surgery" was clinical in their dismantling of the #3 seed, "Knocked Up"

"Ball So Hard", fresh from an epic semi-finals win after a season of many losses, was excited to be in the Championships. It was a strong, close beginning to the match, making single points each round. But as the game went on, "Botched Ball Surgery" was still on fire -- they wanted this win! Darren Russey pulled out a few clutch throws over the course of the night, but it was Ross Noonan who really earned VIP for the night. His enthusiasm carried the team, and Chelan Vukas impressed us all! She jumped into each situation humble, which usually ended up by knocking "Ball So Hard" out of the way. This winning team for the season really earned their $50 Benny's bar tab on Court 1 -- and they're proud of it!

Congratulations to "Botched Ball Surgery" and to all of the teams that competed in a great Bocce Ball season.

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
