The Friday night co-ed soccer playoffs delivered the drama at Mather Sports Center, with the top four teams battling it out for the championship. The semifinals started with #1 Los Papis getting all they could handle from #4 Sporting Sacramento FC. Sporting Sacramento FC pushed the top seed to the very end, but Los Papis survived the scare with a narrow 4-3 victory to punch their ticket to the championship match.

On the other side of the bracket, #3 911 began their title run against #2 Tiki Taka FC. In another one goal thriller, 911 pulled off the first upset of the night, taking down the second seed 3-2 and setting up a championship showdown with #1 Los Papis.

πŸ† IMSFC Takes Home the Friday Night Open Division Championship! ⚽πŸ”₯

The Friday Night Open Division wrapped up its season at Mather Sports Center with a playoff bracket full of close games, upsets, and plenty of goals! With the top four teams advancing to the postseason, both semifinal matchups came down to a single goal as everyone battled for a spot in the championship.

The night started with a huge upset as #4 Roadrunners FC took on regular season top seed #1 Barca Nova. Roadrunners FC refused to let their seeding define their playoff run, edging out Barca Nova in a 5-4 thriller to become the first team to secure a spot in the finals. The second semifinal was just as competitive, with #2 IMSFC facing #3 Team X. IMSFC held off Team X for another nail biting 5-4 victory, setting up a championship matchup between the #2 and #4 seeds.

After two incredibly tight semifinals, IMSFC left no doubt in the championship game. The #2 seed took control against Roadrunners FC and never looked back, exploding for six goals on their way to a convincing 6-1 victory. After surviving a one goal battle in the semifinals and turning in a dominant performance with the title on the line, IMSFC officially claimed the Friday Night Open Division championship! πŸ†βš½

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
