SAND Volleyball - Tuesdays (Late Spring '26)

The Tuesday Beginner Sand Volleyball season at Howe Park may have been a small league, but it delivered plenty of memorable matchups, rivalries, and growth throughout the summer. When the sand finally settled after Position Week, it was Party Ball standing atop the standings after a dominant championship performance against the sunday social.

What makes Party Ball's title run especially impressive is that it wasn't always smooth sailing. In Week 1, they opened the season with a tough 2-1 loss to Free Ballin' following another hard fought, but tough 2-1 loss over Notorious D.I.G. That early split proved to be a turning point, as Party Ball would spend the rest of the season steadily improving and establishing themselves as one of the league's top contenders.

As the weeks progressed, the rivalry between Party Ball and the sunday social became one of the defining storylines of the season. Their first meeting on May 19 saw Party Ball emerge with a 2-1 victory in a competitive battle. Just one week later, they met again and Party Ball once again found a way to come out on top, winning 2-1 behind what was described as "elite synergy" from Steph and Kaylin. Every time these teams shared a court, the matches were competitive, energetic, and showcased how much both squads had improved throughout the season.

Meanwhile, Notorious D.I.G. proved they belonged in the conversation all season long. They earned quality wins, battled through multiple weeks of competition, and consistently found ways to stay near the top of the standings. The sunday social also put together an impressive campaign, including victories over both Free Ballin' and Notorious D.I.G., ultimately securing the second seed heading into Position Week. With the top two teams set to face off for the league title, the stage was set for one final showdown.

When championship night arrived, Party Ball left no doubt. Facing the sunday social for the third time this season, they delivered their most complete performance of the year, winning 21-8 and 21-14 to secure the championship. The team that had spent the season building chemistry, improving week after week, and winning the biggest matchups when they mattered most finished the job in convincing fashion.

Congratulations to Party Ball on an outstanding season and a well earned championship! From early season battles to a dominant Position Week victory, they proved that consistency, teamwork, and a little bit of party spirit can be a championship formula.
