*ROCKLIN* Volleyball - Sundays: Intermediate (Late Spring '26)

Our Sunday Intermediate Volleyball season in Rocklin came to an exciting conclusion as the top four teams earned their shot at the championship. #1 Really Really Hard Hitters, #2 Big Dig Energy, #3 Spiking Spuds, and #4 Kiss My Ace all entered the playoffs looking to finish their season on top.

The semifinals featured two strong performances from the league's top seeds. #1 Really Really Hard Hitters advanced to the championship after #4 Kiss My Ace was unable to compete, while #2 Big Dig Energy secured their place in the finals with a straight set victory over #3 Spiking Spuds. That set up a championship showdown between the league's two highest seeded teams, a fitting finale after both squads had impressive regular seasons.

The championship match certainly lived up to the billing. Big Dig Energy came out firing and claimed the opening set 21-17, putting the top seed on the ropes. But Really Really Hard Hitters responded in dominant fashion, taking the second set 21-10 to even the match and force a winner take all third set. With the championship on the line, both teams traded points in a thrilling finale before Really Really Hard Hitters edged out a dramatic 15-13 victory to complete the comeback and secure the league title.

Congratulations to Really Really Hard Hitters on an outstanding season and a hard fought championship! 🎉 A big congratulations as well to Big Dig Energy for an excellent postseason run, along with Spiking Spuds and Kiss My Ace for reaching the playoffs.
