After two weeks of high-level rallies and competitive matchups, the Tuesday Intermediate Pickleball League at Howe Park has crowned its champions! The #1 seed Dangerous Nights Crew proved they were the team to beat all season long, finishing their playoff run with an impressive championship victory and cementing themselves as the kings and queens of the intermediate division.

The postseason opened with a pair of first round battles as #8 Team Z defeated #9 Civil Serving, while #10 Now Serving pulled off an upset over #7 Really Big Dills to advance. In the quarterfinals, Dangerous Nights Crew wasted no time, sweeping Team Z to move on. Elsewhere, #4 Motown Masala edged out #5 Bread and Butter in a three game battle, #2 Uh Oh handled Now Serving in straight games, and #3 Team X survived a tough match against #6 Furi-Osos to round out the semifinal field.

Championship week featured two heavyweight matchups. Dangerous Nights Crew continued their dominant run by defeating #4 Motown Masala in straight games, while #2 Uh Oh outlasted #3 Team X in a three game thriller to earn a well deserved trip to the finals. That set the stage for a championship clash between the top two seeds, a fitting finale for such a competitive season.
