Soccer - Sunday PM Coed (Spring '26)

Division 3 soccer wrapped up with a strong playoff run from the #2 seed Unatletico Madrid, who caught form at exactly the right time and claimed the championship at Mather Sports Center. With only the top three teams qualifying for postseason play, every regular season result mattered, and Unatletico Madrid made the most of their opportunity once the playoffs began.

In the semifinals, Unatletico Madrid squared off with the #3 seed Injured Reserve and delivered an impressive offensive performance. They controlled the pace throughout the match and advanced with a convincing 5-2 victory, earning a spot in the title game.

Waiting in the finals was the #1 seed Goal Miners, who had secured a bye after finishing atop the standings. But Unatletico Madrid came into the championship full of confidence and never slowed down. They continued their attacking form, finding the back of the net consistently while holding off the top seed’s efforts. By the final whistle, Unatletico Madrid had secured a 5-2 championship win to complete their playoff run in style.

By taking down the #3 seed and then the #1 seed, the #2 seed Unatletico Madrid proved they were peaking at the perfect time and finished the season as Division 3 champions.
