Sunday night kickball at Margaret Azevedo Park brought the heat, and the top seeds showed up ready to prove why they earned their spots. In the semifinals, #1 seed Kick Me Harder wasted no time, putting together a dominant 10-0 shutout over Not Fast, Just Furious! to cruise into the finals. On the other side, #2 seed Blue Ballz handled business as well, taking down The Leftovers 7-1 to lock in a championship matchup between the top two teams.

The finals started off with Blue Ballz in control, jumping out to an early 3-1 lead and looking poised to pull off the upset. Their defense held strong early, and the momentum was clearly on their side. But as the game went on, Kick Me Harder found another gear. Timely kicks, aggressive base running, and capitalizing on a few tough defensive breaks helped them chip away and eventually take over the game.

What started as a tight, low scoring battle turned into a late game swing, with Kick Me Harder rallying to secure a 6-5 victory and complete the comeback. It was a game of momentum, execution, and staying composed under pressure and the #1 seed delivered when it mattered most.
