Pickleball - Tuesdays (Late Spring '26)

After two weeks of playoff action, the Tuesday Beginner Pickleball League at Howe Park has crowned its champions! The #1 seed Bash Bros lived up to their top billing, navigating a talented 10 team bracket and finishing the job with a championship performance worthy of the regular season's top team.

The opening round featured plenty of excitement as the #9 seed Team A upset #8 Pickles Will Prevail to earn a shot at the top seed, while the #7 seed Pickleback Gurls battled past #10 Brine Time in a three game thriller. The quarterfinals continued the action with Bash Bros taking care of Team A, but the biggest surprises came elsewhere in the bracket. #5 One Loss After Another knocked off #4 2 Shorts and a Tall, #7 Pickleback Gurls upset #2 OG Wrecking Balls, and #6 Pickle Juice completed another upset by eliminating #3 Pickle Me Elmo. By the end of week one, three lower seeded teams had punched their tickets to Championship Week!

When the semifinals rolled around, Bash Bros had to earn their spot in the finals with a hard fought three game victory over the resilient #5 seed One Loss After Another. On the other court, #6 Pickle Juice continued its Cinderella run by defeating #7 Pickleback Gurls to set up a championship showdown.

In the finals, however, the top seed reminded everyone why they entered the playoffs as favorites. Bash Bros capped off an outstanding season by defeating the surging #6 seed Pickle Juice in straight games to claim the Beginner Pickleball championship! 🏆 Congratulations to Bash Bros on an incredible title run, and a huge shoutout to Pickle Juice for an impressive postseason filled with upset victories.
