Party Pickleball - Mondays (Winter '26)

Monday night’s Party Pickleball at Elks Lodge #6 was packed with energy as a full slate of teams battled their way through the playoffs. The tournament featured nine teams, and with the rule that reaching five match points secured a win, every match was fast paced and full of intensity. Round 1 kicked things off with a nail biter as ninth seeded The Big Dill narrowly defeated eighth seeded Rise & Brine 5-4, immediately setting the stage for a dramatic playoff run.

The quarterfinals delivered plenty of excitement and upsets. Top seeded The Slice is Right advanced past The Big Dill with a 5-4 win, while fourth seeded The Wrecking Balls cruised to a 5-2 victory over fifth seeded The Effers. Second seeded Chips and Dinks and third seeded Carpe Dink’em also advanced, each dispatching their opponents to set up high stakes semifinal matchups.

The semifinals were nothing short of thrilling. The top seed, The Slice is Right faced fourth seeded The Wrecking Balls in a close 5-4 match, barely securing their spot in the finals. On the other court, third seeded Carpe Dink’em upset second seeded Chips and Dinks with a 5-4 victory, proving that they were a force to be reckoned with.

In the championship match, the top seed met the third seed in an intense showdown. Carpe Dink’em edged out The Slice is Right 5-4 to claim the title, capping off a playoff run full of clutch points and strategic dinks. With long rallies, fast reflexes, and some perfectly timed smashes, Carpe Dink’em proved they could compete with anyone and came away as Monday night champions. Congratulations to all teams for an incredible two weeks of Party Pickleball, the competition was fierce, and every game had fans on the edge of their seats!
