Volleyball - Thursdays: Intermediate at MSC (Winter '26)

The intermediate volleyball playoffs at Mather Sports Center were full of high energy action on Thursday night, with top teams showing why they earned their playoff spots. In the semifinals, top seeded Volley Llama faced off against fourth seeded Set for Life, dominating the match and securing a straight set victory to punch their ticket to the finals. On the other court, second seeded FHS Panthers went up against third seeded My Kill is Karma and also won convincingly, leaving the crowd buzzing with anticipation for the championship match.

Both Volley Llama and the FHS Panthers brought incredible offense and defense in their first matches, with long rallies and some gnarly spikes that couldn’t even be dug. The energy carried into the finals, where the second seeded Panthers went head to head with top seeded Volley Llama in a match that kept everyone on the edge of their seats. FHS started strong, taking the first game 21-11, but Volley Llama battled back to claim the second game 21-17. In the decisive third game, the Panthers regained control and closed it out 21-15 to secure the championship.

Congratulations to the FHS Panthers for taking the title, and a huge shoutout to Volley Llama for putting up an incredible fight. With both teams showcasing impressive skill, long rallies, and relentless energy, Thursday night’s intermediate playoffs were a thrilling display of volleyball at its best.
